    Hello all,

This is my second post on this forum so I hope you will pardon my ignorance. I am flying United from Chicago to Hong Kong and will be catching a connecting flight (codeshare) with Cathay Dragon to Kuala Lumpur this Saturday, Dec 30th.

My dilemma is that I only have 1 hour and 10 minutes between these flight. Is this doable? I don't know why but it was booked this way via United (there must be a formula or allowance as far as time is concern for connecting flight) in their booking system.

What would happen if there was a delay (on United flight from Chicago) and cause me not be able to go on the connecting flight? Which airline should I contact for a re-book if necessary? United or Cathay Pacific/Dragon?

Do I have to be rechecked as far as immigration/customs when I am in Hong Kong even though I am within the airport?

Just have concerns and is nervous about the whole situation. I look forward to your advice and thank you in advance.
