How about we start by bringing back Bruce Lakefield? Problem with that is Bruce is likely not interested. If he says no, let's see what Gordon Bethune is up to these days?

Then move onto removing a President that thinks carry on baggage rules don't apply to him?

While we're at it let's entice Barry Biffle away from Spirit to assume the role of Chief Marketing Officer.

We leave Andrew Nocella right where he is.

Next we offer generous early outs for anyone with over 20 years experience and get some new blood at the bottom as you suggest.

What say the rest of you?
All you have to do is give em health care and a whole bunch will retire you wouldn't have to give them anything.......

You really think that would be all it would take? A bridge to Medicare? Interesting! If that's the case I'd think US might want to take a hard look at doing something.

Problem is with most buyout packages is they suck up a ton of cash to implement and right now US has little cash to spare in an uncertain economy.
Absolutely

There's no reason to even day dream about that...it will NEVER happen because it's an "open ended cost."

The same reason, as people are about to find out, a 401-K is a very, very, very risky proposition....the costs on the back side are not clearly defined.

There are a couple of good examples out there why "health care for retirees" is just never going to happen....look not further than the US Auto industry.
