So, now bad weather is Management's fault?

Kirby, is that you? That pesky jet stream continues to be your nemesis. I'm surprised no one has blamed it on the customers.

Aside from DL, CO would be the only other airline with a long haul route. Well, they ran it just fine over these last few days without a fuel stop. Does the 767-400 have more fuel capacity and/or range than a 762ER?Sources please.
I would think that Great Circle CLT to HNL would be well north of LAX, but apparently not.
This is what makes us F/As look stupid.
This has nothing to do with a "block" of flying, which,'Bother Way', is a term that is exclusive to US Airways (East). Everyone else in the industry calls this a LINE of flying.
This block is a physical thing that has to do with parking an airplane at a gate. You know, the big thing with wings? They are allowed to fly and park anywhere, regardless of who crews them. The PHX hub (as in the airport, not the domicile for F/As) is painting parking places for the 767 in preparations for diversions on the HNL flight.
It's not all about F/As and our scheduling system for crews.
Yeah tell me about it. Just look at the 767 operations on the PHL-ATH route. That flight is weight restricted more times than I can count. That a/c should NOT be on that route.
Must have been very efficient diversions.airliners.net, AS and DL/NW from sea-hnl
Dogwonder you never have anything positive to say about usairways why do u even bother posting.
Yeah, fighting headwinds for 8 or more hours enroute doesn't affect range at all...it's that darn Philly weather despite the plethora of diversion airports if needed between Newfoundland and DC.Those weight restrictions are based on Philly weather more than anything
