For all those that can't "find" a job.

I remember your situation when you were PB.

A family or personal illness changes everything doesn't it. Also, pushing 60 is tough. That is why I make a point of doing my part pushing that envelope and helping those get hired. There is a vast knowledge network out there of folks who will show up and give 100% every day as long as they are healthy. I have a feeling that you fit in there.

I have pushed your buttons enough. I can be an ass at times, can't I? Sometimes even libertarians need a hand, would you agree?

We ALL need a hand from time to time and that is the obligation of our fellow man, not an appropriate role for government. We, as in you and I are the social contract and safety net as well for we are our brothers keeper. Trouble is we abdicated our role as such to the government and we need to get it back.

Preemptive wars, suppression of dissent, violations of civil liberties is UN-American and you can't promote American ideals through Un-American Actions.

I think there is a role for government in many hard times circumstances.

As in fa la Li lo ti da, he received well earned retraining when needed. Those programs are labeled as socialist and "libtard" in nature by him and his ilk.

However, they are good for society and the economy.

Unemployment is at least partly funded by employee's ergo not a handout. I applied for SNAP and was accepted but never followed through as I went out and got another part time job. Anything else you want to be wrong about or is 2 enough for one day?

Unemployment is funded by the companies that pay into it.  There are only three states that have workers contribute and even then it's a very small amount.

The "contributions" are in fact part of the employees compensation package. It is figured in to what it takes to employ that particular person. And therefore is "earned"! Weather the funds are paid directly by the company to the Government, or through a payroll deduction, makes no difference.

How convenient.

Whether or not you paid into it is irrelevant.  What is relevant is that you benefited from a government program.  And the tax rates for workers in those those states is low.  In other words you got a very good return on your investment.

Is that the same reasoning as the Democrats calming business realy built by them? And that "they didn't build their companies, but big government did"?

Its potential income a worker could have gotten from his employer if they never are unemployed its theft of his wages...

you only get a return if you are unemployed if you arent you dont get money back when you retire...

Its a scam..

It is a form of wage confiscation. Just because you earn $15.00 per hour that doesn't have much to do with what an employer spends on you. 7.5% right off the top for SS, and Unemployment Insurance, Workers Compensation and the list goes on to the point that if the average FTE earns $10.00/hr it costs the employer about a net of $13.00 per hour.

See if liberal actually knew how money & Business works you wouldn't be forced to read such crap

No offense but you are starting to sound a bit liberal yourself.
