If The Airline Liquidates It Is Not The End

If this is the end well, we all gave it a... good shot....

Alot of dumb moves were made with the company, for a long time....

The clock just ran out in the 4th quarter....

People move on....Find new jobs... some move away ....make new friends...go to school....learn new skills....find rewarding positions....Spend more time with familys....

They find there's life after this....The knowledge, skills and experience they have gained while here, will help them in their future positions....

The failure of the airline has not been in labor costs...

We know Southwest labor costs are higher or equal in most areas.... but they have found ways to keep costs in line, while not using their employees as whipping boys in the media.....They have been respectful of their customers, as well as, their employees....

The leaders at U have chosen not to be accountable for their actions, never admit mistakes, and pin blame on others.....even to reward failures with golden parachutes, based on the "good Ole boy" network.....

It is my feeling that the bubble is soon to burst......

To fellow USAIRWAYS employees,

You have served your customers well...Your class, professionalism, intregity and hard work will not go unrewarded.....

As another message board poster said...
"Live Like You Were Dying"...

All the best for the future!

I believe Delta's announcement of 50% off fares, no saturday nite stay, a simplified fare to 8 fares in all markets, and 50% change fee to $50.00 is not good news for USAIRWAYS...

Also it was announced that Southwest is starting service to Pittsburgh....More bad news for USAIRWAYS...Will Charlotte service be announced next by them?....Ugh!
