Letters mailed to bankruptcy judge and filed in AMR's case

Lots of additional letters:

#602 http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/pdflib/602_15463.pdf AA refuses to arbitrate my claim due to the automatic stay and it's unfair

#604 http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/pdflib/604_15463.pdf Incoherent rambling about AA - and practically illegible handwriting

#735 http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/pdflib/735_15463.pdf Form Letter; make the executives sacrifice to preserve the pensions

#736 http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/pdflib/736_15463.pdf Same form letter

#737 http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/pdflib/737_15463.pdf More of the same

#738 http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/pdflib/738_15463.pdf The same form letter

#739 http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/pdflib/739_15463.pdf The same form letter

Letters to the judge aren't going to have any impact, but if they did, form letters are not the way to do it. The form letters are all from the Cincinnati area - no doubt friends thinking "Let's mail a letter to the bankruptcy judge." The banruptcy docket will get very crowded and cluttered if every employee and retired employee sends the court their own letter.

Lots more letters from retirees - look like they're all from the Cincinnati res center (closed):

Not all are form letters but most follow the same format, as in "I worked for AA for many years at the CVG res center and all I have is my pension. Don't let AA terminate my pension."

Unless they had a huge pension and retired at age 60, they don't have anything to worry about.

Ok, I understand people are worried about their pension, but really. How come people don't educate themselves one what actually happens? I read all the letters and I agree the form letters are just lazy. The ones with poor handwriting are almost as bad, because it is very difficult to read the message. If it makes you feel better writing the letter, then absolutely, write it. Just please do research first and get the facts straight. Why would the judge even consider any letter from a person with false statements in it, although I agree with FWAAA that they will do nothing to sway the judge at all. People are not going to "lose" their pension, just be paid by a different entity. Some sound like they are going to end up on the street, I mean please. These are mostly res employees from CVG. They aren't pilots or upper management that most likely will lose money if the PBGC takes over their respective pension plan. It would do them well to get facts and stop worrying so much. It can't be good for their health.
