Sad?=Truly pathetic :down: Having finally read the press releases all over the freakin' country's news....I'm all in favor of hanging tha' stooo-pid little thieving bastige. Headlines of "Pilot Steals Passenger's IPod" aren't exactly conducive to public respect for this constantly decaying "profession".

And what does that have to do with it. This is not a pilot thing or a Mesa thing or any other thing except this guy is a thief. He will probably be prosecuted for it (and should be).

Word is that he will be hired by UAL (since only 1 in 40 pilots accepted recall) as an FO on an airbus and has also accepted a position as an ALPA Representative (given his ‘resourcefulness’).
The deal is, he will have to glean the aircraft (as community service) after every landing and split his bounty with the BOD. His aspirations are to become a Captain on the Airbus and lead ALPA.
