A friend told me that Regions Air cancelled all their flights one day this past weekend. Was wondering if anyone knew why? Something about a dispute with FAA?
 
RegionsAir Anticipates Resumption of Services

Smyrna, TN – Earlier today, March 3rd, RegionsAir, Inc. operating as AmericanConnection out of St. Louis to 9 cities and Continental Connection out of Cleveland to 3 West Virginia cities, ceased scheduled operations, but the airline is now in the process of repositioning aircraft & crews back into the St. Louis system with the intentions of resuming most flights on Sunday, March 4th.

“We have satisfied the request of the FAA to update our manual covering Line Check Airmen and we are returning aircraft & crews to our AmericanConnection network,â€￾ says Nathan Vallier, the Director of Sales & Marketing for the carrier, “We anticipate resumption of services early tomorrow, Sunday March 4th, to all of our cities in the St. Louis system, with Cleveland services resuming early next week.â€￾

“We sincerely regret any travel interruptions that have occurred today, March 3rd. Moving forward, we look forward to returning our airline to our phenomenal on-time performance and excellent reliability to all of our communities.â€￾

Regions Air is shut down thru Saturday March 10th at this point.
 
That's a long time. Looks like another bankruptcy filing in the making...

Flights now out zeroed out of the schedule in Sabre thru infinity.....doesnt look like they are coming back. Hard to say what Great Lakes will do.
