Seniority list

We don't know how many on the IAM side took it. Their seniority list has been under wraps. Maybe someone from the IAM side can chime in.

The IAM side is still too busy adding the padded years to the IAM members years of seniority in order to screw the TWU side more and more...

SWAMT; You stirring the pot here to keep the TWU members against the IAM is not helping. Is that what you did at SWA with the Airtran guys? Isn't it AMFA's goal to unite the mechanics of the airlines?

Wasn't stirring on purpose, but was agreeing with Rogallo and being sarcastic. No it's not what I did at SWA with AT guys. That was the agreement after several and long nego's sessions between AMFA and the teamsters who were representing the AT guys at the time. The teamsters threw in the towel after getting pressure from their own guys to come to an agreement quickly before they lose the chance to get on our contract and start receiving our pay scale. Some guys were missing out on a 18-22 bucks per hour in increases. Instead of throwing in the towel, the teamsters should have continued to fight for their members all the way thru mediation because a mediator and/or arbitrator would have followed the laws and dovetailed everyone in as we were under the new laws of seniority integration since the TWA fiasco way back when. But, as long as the majority of both sides agree, they can work out their own agreement. Both sides were above 85% vote in favor of the agreement.

anybody here from lus ? how guys are in a/c maint. reg. mech leads insp. etc

a few guys who left 2 weeks ago are still on the seniority list.

not only have they not merged twu-iam station/system, they haven't even kept current with twu members who took the buyout 2 weeks ago.

i guess one day they'll update it.

Hopefully by the time we select vacation for 2021 the list will be finalized. Too many ifs right now on what things will look like come October or 2021.

maybe the HR people have their sight obstructed by their masks and can't see the names of those who left 2 weeks ago?

the people that we have that left 2 weeks ago are going to be on the seniority list for 12 month they are getting that 20 hours pay every pay period for 12 months and then they will retire. they will be on payroll and seniority list for 1 year
