Is this what a union is all about? Forming cliques and saying "nanny nanny boo boo stick your head in doo doo" to people who choose to be a productive taxpayer? Grow up!

JS, sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight. The scabs will fix it right the first time....or maybe the second......

WCCO) Minneapolis As the final hours before a possible strike tick away, mechanics were asked to hand in their badges and were escorted by security as they clocked out of their shifts Friday night in both Minneapolis and Detroit, Mich.

Representatives of Northwest Airlines' mechanics union said there were no joint sessions Friday with Northwest and a union representative added that the union has no plans to talk with the airline today.

Mechanics from the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association can strike at 11:01 p.m. central time Friday. Northwest is seeking $1.1 billion worth of annual labor savings and it wants $176 million from its mechanics.

The airline shifted Northwest mechanics' schedules so most workers would not be on the clock if a strike were to begin.

AMFA hereby withdraws and rescinds its repudiation of the no-strike clause in Article 2.D of the AMFA-Mesaba CBA.

AMFA rescinds any orders, directions, requests or suggestions to Mesaba’s mechanics to do any act that has been enjoined by the above order of the Court.

AMFA hereby directs all Mesaba mechanics and related employees to immediately comply with the Court’s order, and to refrain from doing any act that has been enjoined by the order.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that AMFA will initiate disciplinary proceedings against any Mesaba mechanic who violates the above Court order.

You're obviously uninformed. The scab lists are a fact of life. The lists exist and make the rounds. Maybe you should ask some of the people who scabbed how life is like after the colossal mistake of crossing the line. It ain't pretty even years after the fact. You scab and you're permanant garbage.

If this was AA, CIO would be begging to vote yes on the company's last "best" offer. NWA mechanics are doing what USAIR and AA mechanics should have done in 2002-2003. Strike em! CIO,will you be on the picket line tomorrow or will you be working for Avtechs(NWA's scab contractor)? That's what I thought. Avtech scabs make more money then AA scabs like CIO, so CIO will be jumping ship to scab at Northwest.

Agreed. AA Flight Attendants should have done in 2003 what they did in 1993.
Let's hope the NWA situation works out. AA unions collectively lowered the bar for everyone else in 2003. NWA unions have an opportunity to show that enough is enough.

Corporate sharks can't continue to rape and pillage the american working class.

It is unfortunate that the American flying public must suffer because of this but the sacrifices of the workers vs. management are too much to continue.

The pilot scab list is pretty easy to obtain, while not certain, I find it likely there is one for Mechs as well. If anything else, your dates of employment at a certain carrier will remove any doubt as to what you did.

Certainly you would not try to hide the fact, after all, are you not proud of what you are about to do or would do!

So you think this list is going to deter me / us from capitalizing on your socialistic a$$es. your pathetic. the only way your so called list will be valid is if there are still unions next year. In case you haven't noticed you don't carry a whole lot of weight these days. Hope ya'll like soup.
