United Engine Failure On Takeoff (777)

Well shite, now one in Russia.
Of course anything popping up on radar with the 777 right now will pull any and all media corps into the investigation mode...

Not even related then. I imagine even the Pilots are a little trigger happy on the 777's if any engine light or indication pops up right now.

FAA to mandate strengthening the cowlings so not to damage the fuselage, but not strengthening the blade part that caused everything? C'mon FAA, you need to fix the problem of the fan blade fatigue failure first then do the cowling as well.
