Lazarus;

"Where ALL going down the tubes".......

I respectfully disagree.

Some USA airline(s) will be around to fly people on "choice routes"(NYC/LAX, LAX/MIA, ORD/NYC, BOS/SFO) just to name a few, PLUS International, which WN,B6, can't do.

For those reasons, IMHO, AA, and NW, and of course WN will survive this airline industry holocaust, "no matter what" !!!!

However, as far as AA is concerned, I do think AA could see mainline significantly smaller(layoffs etc.), and a ton of domestic flown by AMR's "ace-in-the-hole", AE.

One thing is DEFINITELY sure, and that is, the US Government will soon STOP "propping up" carriers that are destined to fail, for what ever reason.

Plz believe that I mean NO disrespect to carriers that are "near Death" !!!!!!!!
It's just going to come down to "the law of the jungle"

As for yourself(if your in a bad position now), you MUST believe that life goes on after commercial aviation !!!!!!!

Good luck !!!
