What About This Weekend

I won't rehash last weekend. It was a real mess, and now history.

To the IAM members and AFA members who are mad at the company, and who isn't, what will you do this weekend? Are you going to steal the food out the mouths of the other employees in this company by placing the final nail in the coffin.

I believe this company can survive and thrive but only with the help of every employee. The LCC's are gearing up for the final kill. We are our own worst enemy or we can all be our own greatest asset.

This is still the company the won the airline of the year in 1999, with great operations and customer service. The market has changed and we must also.

What will you do this weekend?

Lots of management types baiting.

US never won airline of the year in 1999, that award is given out by ATW, US won a quality service award from the University of Nebraksa at Omaha.

And no airline in 1999 recieved the Airline of the Year Award.

The nail was hammered last week and too hard. Even a soap opera wouldn't be able to turn this story line around.

not even working for free will save USAIR! Its like a bad marriage or relationship that has lost all trust as one side is giving the other is taking. in the end its usually a nasty breakup with no winners!

700UW is correct, no airline was given Airline of the Year award in 99, but here is something interesting, US was given the Financial Management award in 88 & 83...Somebody better find old management and give them a job...

Actually, it was Piedmont who really did win "Airline of the Year" and I believe it was either in 1983 or 1984
