There will be no need to overturn the PPACA, the program is already in a slow death spiral. You can't make the young and healthy (the ones needed to pay for the program)sign up! John Roberts tied Obamacare's hands. By mid 2014 expect the HHS to run commercials saying . . .

Are you Young, Healthy and Stupid?

We need you!

Enroll in ObamaCare today!

Like a hobo on a hotdog . . . Ms Tree and DOMA.

Still having trouble adressing the facts huh? I guess insults are easier for a simple mind to deal with.

Since you are either unwilling or incapable I'll give it a try.

Fugitive Slave Act - repealed in 1964
Slave Trade act of 1807 - This is a UK law. Revolutionary war would have invalidated that.
Dawes Act - repealed in 1934
Prohibition - repealed in 1933
National Maximum Speed Law - repealed 1995
Glass–Steagall - repealed 199

So remind me again when the ACA was repealed?

There is no chance of repeal, that is why the lunatic fringe tried to take out the mandatory appropriation that funds the PPACA.

I do not understand the new tea party method of trying to win elections. It seems that the entire party is simply about stopping anything and everything put forward by congress that Obama supports.

Obstructionism is not a winning strategy. It was not when Democrats did/do it and it is not now. America is a centrist political nation. We want progress. Most people do not want their leaders in congress to state that their main objective is to get rid of the president.

That is not the road to continuous improvement.

And neither is the policies of the present administration.
The present progressive party are extreme leftist if you haven't noticed and their extremist views and policies are what is awakening America......
America is and has been off the true track now since the Woody Wilson days.

And the Tea Party is not about obstruction.....

The Tea Party is a grassroots movement that calls awareness to any issue which challenges the security, sovereignty, or domestic tranquility of our beloved nation, the United States of America. From our founding, the Tea Party represents the voice of the true owners of the United States: WE THE PEOPLE.
TeaParty.org was created on: September 2nd, 2004. Many claim to be the founders of this movement; however, it was the brave souls of the men and women in 1773, known today as the Boston Tea Party, who dared to defy the greatest military might on earth. We are the beneficiaries of their courage.
The Tea Party includes those who possess a strong belief in the foundational Judeo-Christian values embedded in our great founding documents. We believe the responsibility of our beloved nation is etched upon the hearts of true American Patriots from every race, religion, national origin, and walk of life sharing a common belief in the values which made and keep our beloved nation great. This belief led to the creation of the modern-day Tea Party.
Many Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents identify with the premises set forth by the Tea Party Movement, which is striking a chord and ringing true with the American Spirit.
We stand by the Constitution as inherently conservative. We serve as a beacon to the masses that have lost their way, a light illuminating the path to the original intentions of our Founding Fathers. We must raise a choir of voices declaring America must stand on the values which made us great. Only then will the politically blind see and deaf hear!
By joining the Tea Party, you are taking a stand for our nation. You will be upholding the grand principles set forth in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The Tea Party Movement

Reminiscent of Tiananmen Square where a few stood to defy tyranny and demand liberty and democracy, a few patriots stood in protest representing the American people. We were more than lowly protestors; we were the type of Americans the Founding Fathers envisioned over 200 years ago as true Patriots of courage and valor.
TeaParty.org and soon other fearless Patriots began to join in our solitary stance; The Tea was brewing! Young and old, wealthy and poor, patriots of all colors and backgrounds began to rally with a new energy, an energy reminiscent of pictures in old American History books. Word of mouth began to spread. Citizens began calling loved ones, proclaiming, “We The People Rule!” Many blogged on their laptops, or messaged family and friends. The energy began to sweep across the nation.
The media began to take notice. America was deeply moved, right down to her soul. A new voice began to speak, and a new hope was spawned. Gathering crowds grew from hundreds to thousands, and then swelled to the millions.
As citizens became increasingly frustrated by “politics as usual,” patriots across America began seeking a new voice, one that echoes from the pages of history. What would we name this voice? It soon became obvious, for our very own heritage held the key to unleashing the American Spirit. The Tea Party was the perfect choice. The Tea Party concept was far superior because it removed all the obstacles of party lines along with the baggage of confused issues, and focused only on a few key points.
From this humble beginning a movement was born. The Tea Party Movement, born from obscurity, without funding, without planning, is a spontaneous force shaking the very glass foundation of the oligarchy that rules in our name, but without our blessing.
We took our stand, thousands joined, and then millions assembled across our beloved nation. Today, tens of millions of Patriot voices resonate in unison “We The People Rule!” In spite of ongoing hateful ridicule from socialists and leftists, we stood our post, day by day, month by month and now year in and year out. We will not stop.
Needless to say, this Tea Party Movement has grown far beyond belief, from a handful of brave Patriots to tens of millions. Many have been declared as the founder of the modern-day Tea Party; to that we can say: “The true founders of the Tea Party were the brave Patriots who dared challenge the status quo in 1773; we are merely their beneficiaries.”
A word from TeaParty.Org

Many of America’s dilemmas lay squarely on the shoulders of We The People. Meanwhile, economic issues burden small businesses. However, we must not define ourselves by the calamities in our lives, but by our resolve to pick up the pieces and move on. The power of a few can change a nation, save a people and illuminate a generation.
Commonsense, Conservative, Constitutional Self-Governance Is Our Mode Of Operation. Yes, we are a Christian nation. However, you do not have to be a Christian to enjoy freedom. The Tea Party welcomes all red-blooded U.S. Citizens.
TeaParty.org is the only Tea Party organization praised by Dr. Michael Savage in his book, Trickle Up Poverty, pages 18 through 24. The book is highly recommended!
We may be old fashioned, but we believe it is not foolish to pledge our lives, liberty and sacred honor to the greatest nation that ever was or ever will be. The nation of the people, by the people and for the people, to that we shall strive to carry forward the mantle of the Tea Party, keeping alive the voice of freedom.
May God Bless America

Seeing that debacle of low bidders on display today I have my doubts as to whether the website will work in the next 30 days or so.
It wasn't even a low bid contract! It was a no bid contract.

"Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that earned the contract to build the failed Obamacare website.Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company.
Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni."

I don't have a problem with no bid contracts since usually the company doing it is the only one in it's field with the resources to accomplish the task. The issue comes when there are no penalties for failure. Halliburton should not have been rewarded for their various screw ups and over charges in the ME. CGI should not be paid until the software is fixed and they should be charged a penalty for being late with it in the first place.

Funny part is that the Obamacare website construction doesn't seem to have included anyone with a proven background in systems integration, or enterprise project management.

Whenever I've done work with governmental agencies, there's always a third party (i.e. Boeing, Lockheed, HP, Accenture, IBM) brought in to manage and evaluate the project's risk from Day 1.  It's a pretty common practice when you're talking about critical systems.  Even with airline IT migrations, we see this (e.g. EDS used to be brought in to manage anything for AA involving Sabre, and I've seen the same done quite often with airlines when they are changing from one PSS provider to another).

Had one of those large-scale system integrators been involved, there's no way HSS could get away with saying "we didn't know it wouldn't work" because they'd have an audit trail to prove otherwise.

Boy, those 15 non negotiable core beliefs could really mess up a country....know what I mean?
1. We the people rule huh? 78% of Americans support abortion rights to some degree and 20% don't support for any reason. Find me any TP people who aren't trying to stop abortion for the 20% minority. What happened to majority rules?
2. Intrusive Government-Is the Government being intrusive when they tell the factory owner that they can't spew chemical waste into rivers, lakes and the air we breathe?
3. Our Military budget is 1/3 of the world total budget in Military spending. Think that cutting it to 1/4 or 1/5 or even 1/10 would end our ability to defend ourselves? Hardly.
4. Special interests-Find me any politicians from either party who don't say cut the budget except for that important one in my district? Ever heard of lobbyists? Whatever they want politicians want.
