Does anyone know of a ZED fare calculator? I am wondering if there is an interactive fare calculator where you can put in an itinerary and have it quote the ZED mileage and fare. I have found a couple of sites that list the zone fare chart but I haven't found anything interactive. Thanks, and I hope that I am not off base asking this question in this forum.

Thanks. I checked that site out and US Airways is not a participating airline. Neither are most of the other major airlines. Alaska, Hawaiian, KLM and Northwest are the only majors that participate. If your airline does not participate, you can't use the site even to just check what the ZED mileage/fare is.

I've been wondering for a while now; how do you know what qualifies as low, medium, or high?

The list of airlines with reciprocal travel benefits (in the travel section of theHub) says whether a particular airline is low, medium, or high ZED.

Or you can use Webflyer - it lets you put in up to 4 legs. Just make sure that all bonuses and minimum miles boxes say "actual miles" or "none".

If you use Great Circle Mapper, you can also put multiple segments by stringing them all together, i.e. ORD-PHL-MCO-CLT-ORD.

www.nonrevcheckin.com has a zed fare calculator on it. If you go under US Airways, you can select which ever airline you want, the two city pairs and it will tell you the zed fare, the rules for that airline, and other information. You can change the fare to either employee, spouse, parent or child. If gives the details for each of the US Airways interline agreements.
