Anyone hear what happened to cause 720 to divert to PHL last Friday?

I don't think PA18 was suggesting that we could mix AB 330 flying with B767/757 flying. He was asking why all CLT 757/767 pilots aren't qualified for Intl flying also. The answer is simple.....MONEY. There is a 2 day groundschool coupled with at least 2 linechecks across the pond to qualify...

In the 10Q you can see where it states that 2 aircraft scheduled to be leased in the second half of 2009 have been canceled. Some folks have said that these are the Swiss Air aircraft, but those aircraft were canceled for the last half of 2008....weren't they???? So does that mean that we are...

Just talked to a CO 757 Capt. They can get 79,000 pounds of fuel on theirs by adjusting some (VTO??) switches. They have even discussed adding 500 pounds per side over wing but the fuelers in Europe say they won't take the time to do it. Our 757's are limited to 76,900 but the VTO's always...

Maintainence issues......euro control not accepting revised flight plan for 60 min etops......paxs on a/c for over 4 hours.....1 pax decided to smoke under wing....policia called. Next day same a/c and pax.....PHL had no gate or drivers for people movers for over an hour. Not happy people!!!!

There are more 767's because the 757's are not able to make it anywhere past BRU or AMS.....and those two destinations are very questionable for the summer months when they fly those routes.......
