[P align=left]Dear Sisters and Brothers,[BR][BR]Representatives from District 141-M''s US Airways Mechanical and Related Negotiating Committee met Wednesday, December 11, 2002 and Thursday, December 12, 2002 with US Airways management at the carrier''s Arlington, VA headquarters to discuss the company''s current status and their request for additional labor cost reductions. [BR][BR]US Airways is seeking $200 million in total labor cost reductions from all employee groups. The Air Line Pilots Association reached a tentative agreement on December 11, 2002 which would provide $100 million of that[BR]annual goal.[BR][BR]The Negotiating Committee will continue to discuss the items on the [FONT color=#800000]Company''s modified term sheet as posted on the District 141-M web site, www.iam141m.org, dated November 26, 2002[/FONT].
