And if the EFCA passes then it will be even worse with mass exodus of jobs leaving the united states. This was tried during the great depression (union friendly legislation) and it only exacerbated the unemployment problem.
Because they were raking in the dough then....
Companys are in business to make money for the "SHAREHOLDERS"!
They are not in business to provide jobs!

NOW, to the asinine Answer you gave to "tech", when he asked you why The big 3 agreed to UAW $$$ demands(that they sometimes MUST give in) to that I say.....BULL SHITE !!!!
Example(s),
If say FORD can make money, after AGREEING to a UAW pay Hike, than How can the UAW.."NOW" be held responsible, for that action ??
"IF" you reply, that FORD stopped "making money" 1 1/2 years AFTER they agreed to the UAW request, ..THEN....FORD(friggin') MANAGEMENT should have insisted on an 18 month contract.

Every union contract in existance today, contains a clause that SPECIFICALLY States..."that Management ULTIMATELY has the RIGHT to MANAGE it's Business"(In other words,..THEY have the FINAL SAY) !!!!
