It's even more scary that people are willing to fly on those carriers. :shock:


I always thought that AA should be advertising to the flying public the fact that our planes are not overhauled in third world countries with lack of FAA oversight, no drug testing, background checks, etc. You know, let the flying public know exactly what they are getting with their ticket purchase versus the other airlines maintenance practices.

You know what they say about people in glass houses. A few years ago I saw figures that indicated that AA spent more money on outsourced maintenance than any other carrier. That may have changed since the BK wave.
