Heard from a friend at TYS that the station mgr for American Eagle was terminated and escorted out by FAA....anyone know what happened?

If it was Kelly, that happened a couple weeks back. Don't know the details, though.

Can't think of any reason other than falsification of training records where the FAA would be involved. Even there, the Feds wouldn't be the ones escorting the GM off property unless they were in handcuffs over something more serious.

Something about falsification of paperwork, so you are probably right, although the person who told me said it was the aircraft paperwork that was being falsified (weight and balance, take-off times, etc😉

Are they in line to get additional work due to the XJT situation?

i for one am glad she is gone..hate to see anyone loose thier job, but kelly was a real two faced pain in the *ss. My wife worked for her for a couple of years and she was always up to no good. Company rules did not matter. It was her rules that she cared about. That is what cost her the job, doing things her way instead of the right way. My wife has spoke to several people in TYS and it seems like life is much better now that "hitler" is gone. Morale is way up. Maybe they will be able to get some new people and they might stick around for awhile instead of working short handed all the time. Hope steph. gets the job she was always way cool. (and hot)........

Don't think they are pulling out of TYS, just their work being farmed out. Not sure which carrier will be getting their work, but it looks like AA Eagle, Comair and NW Airlink are those being discussed...will be interesting. Just hate for those XJT employees "starting over" at one of these other carriers - if they decide to stick around in the airline business.
