AA , Relying on the basics

Hurray for Carty Inc. AA's model is not broken, it's the (war) economy, stupid.

I just read an article where they interviewed the Frontier CEO and he says "I don't believe the business traveler will ever return." Well, Mr. Frontiersman if you believe that then why is this country spending $100 million each day to essentially mobilize one-third of all our entire military halfway around the world.

It's because, we (USA & AMR) haven't surrendered to other's wishes and wants and that we believe that in the end, Capitalism and Freedom will prevail.

This wasn't a duplicate post, the link above:

1. Requires you to subscribe to the Dallas News on line;

2. Requires you to provide your name, email address, home address and phone number to read an article (wherein you agree to be spammed via email and marketed at your home address and telephone number by the Dallas news and/or ANY of it's affiliates or whomever they decide to sell or rent their mailing lists to); and

3. Requires you to be subjected to a barage of pop up ads for everything from travelocity to viagra.

So keeping it simple just wasn't a possibility this time

Whoa,

That is alomst as bad as being subjected to foul language and images linked to porno-sites.

Thanks, I will avoid the Dallas News Subscribtion.

It was no problem to register with the Dallas Morning News. I have a pop-up stopper for the ads. The copyright laws are a normal proceadure. I heard that USAviation.com also has rules you must adhere to, that is unless you are special? There are also rules at American to abide by. You even have to give them your name and address. Maybe you should quit.

Aloha,

Carty has said he wants to keep a full service airline with the same CASM as SWA or JBLU so AA can compete with them. JBLU CASM is 6.5 cents. .4 cents of that is employee profit sharing. Actual operating cost are just 6.1 cents. Does anyone out there think thats possible? The only way I can figure he can do it is to pay AA employees a lot less than JBLU & SWA. Maybe that is what his plans are for the new contracts. Lets see how generous the AA Unions are to Carty's plan. Keep the faith.

ALOHA, 007
