Is anyone from the AA side hearing anything concrete about a AA/US merger or take over?

I've not heard anything concreate, because I've been out on an IOD for sometime and just returned to work 2 day's ago. I have been reading on airlinerst.net, flightinfo.com and airlinepilotcentral.com this exact rumor. The chatter has been, Dougie from US Airway's has been at AA HDQ on their flights and AA planes in the past month or so. A jumpseater based in LGA said he had heard it and I'm not going to say what I was told because it's a lot and nobody from 4 airlines want to go there..yup 4 airlines, I say 4 because Us Airway's is 2 . The gate/route swap in LGA/DCA play into this as well. I hope it's only conjecture rampid on the speculation highway.
