I wonder if this vicious idiot:
KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) - A Kansas doctor reviled by anti-abortion groups for his work providing "late-term" abortions was shot and killed in his Wichita, Kansas, church on Sunday, and police said they captured the man responsible.

Police said they planned to charge a 51-year-old man on Monday with homicide and two counts of aggravated assault in the death of 67-year-old George Tiller, who died from a single gunshot.

Just to play devils advocate. One could argue that the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few. The nut job who killed the Dr. was doing it to save the embryos who would would have been murdered by the doctor. A justifiable homicide or so they would argue.

I think I understand the rational behind doing what you think is right, regardless of the law. The civil rights people thought the laws regarding segregation were wrong so the fought them. Unfortunately some of the fringe of the right to life folks seem to have lost sight of the idea of concept of changing laws through less violent means.

I suspect the more sane right to life people are not to happy with this prick as he his just set their cause back quite a bit. I am sure there are quite a few people out there who think all right to life people are like this. There are those out there who might think the few nut jobs like this represent the entire right to life movement. Reminds me of a assumption someone made in a different thread. 😱

Neither life style affects my personal life so I have no problem living next to either couple.

Murder is murder. The person who commits such an act should never see the light of day as far as I am concerned. He should be put in a hole and throw the key away. I am stead fast against the death penalty but for him I would make an exception. Perhaps he would see the irony in that but I doubt it. He is a religious terrorist who thinks god condones his actions.
 
Send him to Gitmo? Or would that be too easy on him? :lol:
 
At first I felt that I would not want to e poor bastards at Gitmo to be punished in that manner. Then I realized that this twist would try and convert the Gitmo inmates to his way of thinking and at some point he would insult their religion and he would get b1tch slapped around. So sure, Gitmo would work. He is a religious terroist so he should fit right in with all the other kooks there.

For me I happen to think the most heinous crime of all is murdering someone over a difference in politics or religion. I firmly believe there should be a special place in Hell for those who do.

The ‘point’ would be that the act of murder IMHO comes from a deranged mind. Regardless of motivation murder is murder. You and kitty can place degrees of the act based on your own criteria as you so please but the end result is the same. Murder of passion or some supposedly deranged religious or political ‘reason’ is not so different than murder for any other stupid excuses.

If ‘logic’ dictates that murder is insane, then one must deduct that a (any) murderer is insane.

Of course that would exclude killing during wartime as it is not murder and because it is sanctioned by ‘Duh Pepple’ and justifiable… Legal killing N’Chit… (Kinda like legal late abortion killing).

So what would you call the murder of a doctor who performed over 60,000 abortions, at a profit of millions then ?

While the accused will probably get what he deserves, maybe the doctor got what he deserved !

The doctor was operating under a license granted by the state and all procedures were with in the bounds of the law. The fact that you sanction murder as some for of retribution speaks volumes about your character. Perhaps one day someone will determine what you may or may not do to/with your body with out your say so.

And I'm going to play Devils advocate here GARF since you know volumes about my character. I believe, in the cases of rape or life being threatened, in abortion !

1.No one put a gun to this doctors head and said " You must perform abortions " !

2.Some would say the Doctor and the State, sanctioned 60,000 murders !

3.Adoption ever offered, to these 60,000 women, as an alternative to LATE-TERM abortion, since apparentely one way or the other they don't care what happens to the child ?

You play with fire, you get burned. That so called doctor reaped what he sowed. The only down side I see in all this is that now the dead abortionist will be portrayed by the media as as a victim. No doubt he will be labeled some kind of martyr for women's rights. :down:
