AirTran Airways Starts New Mid-Day Service to Orlando
Affordable Daily Nonstop Flights to Richmond’s Most Popular Florida Destination Start Today.
Richmond International Airport, VA, November 8, 2005: AirTran Airways today initiated new nonstop service between Richmond International Airport (RIC) and Orlando, the region’s most popular Florida destination.
AirTran Airways offers the following Orlando schedule to/from Richmond, effective immediately:

AirTran, in addition, will add a fifth daily departure to its Atlanta hub on November 16th, and new nonstop service to Ft. Myers, FL, on February 15, 2006. All flights to and from RIC will be served by the airline’s popular Boeing 717 aircraft.

Richmond International Airport (RIC) serves as the gateway airport for Virginia’s Capital Region.
