If i had to guess I would say it is MOSTLY a combination of competitors and rising labor costs. Tariffs may have also risen the cost of coffee beans. Lastly I am sure theft has a lot to do with it, but they are not going to publicly state that. They will just say the store is "under performing".

I heard that employee theft is rampant at Starbucks. Employees keeping money from cash sales.
