All Atos/ctos Have Bar-b-que.....

We are a work group that is excited about the things to come...we have gone from 7 offices to 1or 2 if ya include the America West Phx office... ..plus a few outsourced locations....we were a little disappointed not to be included in the same fashion as all the stations and remaining CTO's. At res alot us are working overtime and to not have to run out of the building and fight the traffic for lunch is a nice perk...CAKE is a bit disappointing - some agents felt that we were dissed. Just wanted to vent - although I realize for some this is a small issue - but I was surprised at how many agents were disappointed.

I have to believe that folks were not intentionally dished. With an event this large there has to be supervision involvement at levels much lower than corporate. From my understanding the event is not catered. I'll be going to the hanger at 3:30 pm to help cook for the night and swing shift. Our supervision has been very involved as of 3pm yesterday (co-worker called me and wanted to know if I'd volunteer to cook) but our folks pulled together very quickly a plan to have a BBQ at the hanger. What is happening system wide I don't know cause I haven't been at work for almost a week. Guess I'll find out more details when I go to work. Anyone wishing to join us at the BBQ is welcome to come. It will be in the ground maintenance side of the hanger.

I'm so sorry res--hey it's 3 res centers--don't forget Reno. The gals are here from INT and will come back with blazing stories about how nice it is here. Though not green. We're having a "pig Pickin" at least that's what I told them it is. Sorry ya'll didn't get bbq--maybe the girls will bring some back to you.

Seems the fesitivities are for front line employees, more of a publicity thing than anything.
Let em eat cake, so to speak,

I'm in school at CLT Training Center, had a big deal today as did the hangar.
It was packed and Cactus (I think res) folks were there too.
All in all, was a very good occasion, even the weather was perfect (omen?)
The first thing we've had to celebrate in 18 years.

Thanks Doug

dear lord.... the front line got burgers and hotdogs...it was set up that way. we got cake at RIDC...no one complained. does it never end? RES had more parties than any other group I ever heard of and no one else was ever invited...

AWA currently has RES in PHX (Tempe) and RNO. Closed RES centers were BWI and MCI.

Just got word that Winston res is having Pizza Pie!!! Okay I'll have mine with pepperoni!!!

CLT got burgers & hot dogs on the ramp side. It was lots of fun for all who were there. I even got to dunk of the shift managers in the dunk tank. However I would've rather gotton the other !
