WASHINGTON, Aug 6 (Reuters) - American Airlines has agreed to pay a $3 million penalty to settle charges that it violated a 1994 consent decree with U.S. antitrust authorities, the Justice Department said on Friday.
The settlement bars American from using travel dates when either initiating or matching fare increases, the department said.
