Hopefully the mediators will say they have seen and been part of this circus long enough and declare an impasse.
Release both sides and lets get the ball rolling.
I agree 100%

Tell me what you think could happen with that, my opinion is ZEROI agree 100%

And the union should also request to be released and since they have such a strong argument about company profits and billions spent on stock buybacks, they should agree to arbitration if proffered. The union should get everything they want.Hopefully the mediators will say they have seen and been part of this circus long enough and declare an impasse.

So what's the problem?
Well if and when the mediators release us, the next step is arbitration to be proffered. It would make the union appear more willing if they accepted even if the company balked. How do you know if the Unions did ask for Arbitration that the Company would accept?
If you recall the Arbitration that the Pilots and FA’s went through came with strict parameters that if either group did not accept the Negotiated deals, the Arbitrator could only award the Industry aggregate average.
We would not be tied to those parameters so it’s likely even if asked (unlikely) the Company would be unwilling to accept.

But anyway, at the end of the day, if arbitration were accepted and the company got what they want, the union loses.
If, by some miracle we got to the end of the entire RLA process and were released and free to strike, the company wins and the union loses.
The company has made it clear they are not reversing or altering their position. The union also is not reversing or altering its position.
At the end of the day, the company comes out ahead, they always do.
Having said this, be prepared to stay on ice for quite a while.
Did you guys ever noticed how fast the TWU pushes a contract through where we lose but slow rolls a contract where we will get a good payday.

You might start by actually taking something/anything seriously?
WeAAz, if we were ever to get released, we're looking at 6-7 years just by judging AMFA/SWA and UAL/CAL/ IBT. I will be long retired by then.Wow you really have no avenue in your mind that the Unions can win do you?
What if Arbitration is accepted and the Arbitrator rules in some areas against the Company? Union wins right.
And if we were miraculously ever free to strike I don’t know about you but I have no problem being out for however long it takes.
Anyway I have yet to read the Company put down officially it’s last offer?
How is the TWU getting a BIG PAYDAY if it agrees to let thousands of jobs be lost?
You’re obviously just thinking about yourself.
