The LAA frozen pension is not holding up negotiations. LUS clinging to a ponzi scheme union pension and the coveted medical IS.

Why do you think EVERYTHING is about the IAM. Aren’t you reading and hearing them talk about SCOPE?

It’s SCOPE that is the # 1 issue.
 
Offering station protection protects everyone on the property. How can we ask for industry leading in pay and benefits but not see that we also probably need to be more in line with the industry on scope. Just looking at both sides here

“Force Majuer” has been used more than once in the Airlines.

That language throws any Station protection right out the window.
 
I honestly don’t think I’ll see a retro check if past history hold true

I’ll bet you we will. Everyone else in the industry who’s Contract was amendable got one, why wouldn’t we?

We got retro in 2001 also.

They didn’t use force manure last time. We just gave it away to them

That was but there by design to frustrate us even more.

It’s meant to economically stimulate.

It’s SCOPE that is the # 1 issue.

SCOPE is the LAA #1 issue. LUS already outsources 50% overhaul so they don't care and its not their fight. Just as LAA already pays higher medical, we do not see the big deal in LUS moving to LAA medical. Hence the loggerhead. 2 unions, two different agendas and the company pandering to the IAM side.

IAM doesnt have facilities and i think GSE may be in just a couple of hubs so..your right

the company isnt going to give us all these benefits and pay just so we can sit around and watch tV.
 
the new offer has less pay as the company shifted the money into the new iam equalization bonus.

The next offer will be less.
