So I guess Management or just some trained Bum at the Airport can perform our work?

Noob MCT here, with less than 10 year classification seniority. Looks like no ‘grandfather’ language to keep at current pay step. The lack of that language would give half the current MCT’s a $15 pay CUT and result in a freeze for 5 years.

Looking at the dates on the items the Company has proposed for Fleet, Article 7 had a date of 2/8/2019. Otherwise all dates go back to 7/24/18 and earlier.

That tells me that the Association has NOT been lying and the Company is NOT moving.

Baskett flat out lied AND YOU, as you jokers maintained that bag running and bagroom are 'when and where directed' and asked if the company was paying me. Who is paying you and Mark Baskett to continue lying? The proposal is clear, bag running and bag room are in the proposal yet basket and billy Wilson lied out their arse on their latest video in march.

I was a union steward for over 8 years when we were Teamsters, when and where directed language means at the company's discretion. So they need to tell the truth.
 
If its anything like what the CWA has then it wont be good. I would hope folks wld vote based on scope rather than money but given the length of time n all the bs ive seen on here i highly doubt that'll occur.

In other words catering we keep with signature of contract but two days later they decide they want to outsource it. Same with Cargo or anything that falls under "when and where so directed", gone when they say gone?

That would be my guess. Thats one of the more reasons to vote no on it

AANOTOK read how Scope is written in the TWU Agreement and compare it to what the Company is proposing. There is clearly noticeable difference that defines who owns the work.

Yes “When and where so directed” can be implied that unless we are otherwise directed to perform certain work functions the Company doesn’t necessarily need to have us perform the written tasks.

In the wording they also write something like “Work that is customarily associated with Fleet Service”

So how do I define that in a Court of Law?
 
So let's see...Fleet Crew Chiefs, who will now become a working part of the crew when needed will go to the bottom of the overtime list because they are a different classification but performed agent duties on shift?

And please show me where "when and where" directed for catering, cabin cleaning, charters, additional cargo affects you guys other than you can no longer refuse to clean an airplane or pack liqeur kits?
I like additional work so i really hope that they direct us to charter flights, cleaning aircraft etc.

Well Robbed I voted yes on our first offer last year, because we maintained scope, that's more important to me than money, but we voted it down, because guys wanted their full back pay. Now with this second T/A we still maintained scope, and are getting our full backpay.
