Al did anyone at USAIR want the IAMNPF for fleet in 2005?

Josh

For the full-time AW agents topping out around $14/hour after 15 years (or there abouts), being promised a pension paying $90/month for every year of service and that was some righteous bucks! Of course, the dream was shattered when major cuts to future benefits were announced a few years later.

Weez why are you disgruntled with your TWU local? You realize if you ever have a need for representation with management they are the ones that will accompany and advocate on your behalf?

You almost seem more cool with Alex than NYer, sure they are both from your station but again in an official capacity you’d have a lot more interaction with the local than international.

Ok I’ll entertain this one. I’m not disgruntled with my Local. My Local is made up of many good representatives who I have absolute confidence can and will represent me to the best of their abilities and even more. I actually get along great with a few of the officers and why you never read me mention them in a poor light.

I’m way more cool with Alex than I am with NYer and I call Alex a friend. Alex has never shown me anything else but courtesy, friendship and respect since I first met him 15 years ago.

But to answer your question I’m not concerned at all if I need representation for myself on either a Local or even International level if that dire.

I don’t get this one Al but I’m absolutely NOT cool with being compared to a pedophile for whatever reason you thought I would be.

I don’t think that was your intention but?
NO ill delete that it wasn't meant that way I meant that you don't have a great track record a bad attempt at humor I apologize

Unfortunately I also had to delete the post where I said you'd be a good rep so I'm saying it now just back off being Joe TWU

at least you finally admitted the real reason why you hate NYer. I think when you went begging to him for that gig that he said wouldnt be there, he did the right thing. You being a selfish prick just wanted off the job but NYer wasnt going to have any of that cuz your work ethic is awful from what I heard.

The iam saw the slimeball tendancies in you and offered you the fll jetblue gig and you jumped on it in exchange for being a iam loyalist and knifing your own Local.

Why isn’t Bob Owens on the JCBA negotiating committee? Is it because they know he is anti-association, anti-IAMNPF and the IAM is bitter he supported stapling TWA in 2001?

Bob believes their primary allegiance is to the membership and supports accountability and transparency something the association doesn’t.

Yeah it’s unfortunate but I assume the HP agents thought the IAM CBA was a big step up from P. Rez TWU 580 agreement.

Each time NYer has been in office he has foregone an actual Political Coordinator expressly for the reason that Alex Garcia was the head of COPE. Even funnier that Alex office was right down the street from the Local 568 office.

Actually I’m not the best candidate for that job anyway. That man would be Jorge Blanco who actually personally knows the Mayor of Miami and possibly Miguel Pumariega but NYer has issues with him too. The man really knows the Political issues we face quite well. My Local did petition for 3 losing Candidates though. Bernie Sanders, Tim Canova over Wasserman-Shultz (Bad Move) and some guy at the TWU International who was running against John Samuelsen who didn’t even show up Joe Campbell (Guy reminds me of you)

As far as myself working for the IAM. I’m not an IAM Member and have no interest in that area anyway. But it is rather strange that you keep claiming I’m somehow attached to that Union when I’m a member of the TWU actually.

BTW what happened to your election rerun? I’ve heard no mention or read no evidence that that’s going to be a reality. So that seems to be over I guess. I understand if you try again in the future that they’ve now raised the bar to needing 75 Locals for a run as opposed to what you needed and didn’t reach, 25?

Sounds to me as if the IAM has squashed any further chances you may ever have to run as a candidate again. Sad

Raising the threshold to 75 is a shitty/undemocratic move, regardless of candidate.

I was just talking to 700 on the phone and told him that I knew you would be the first to chime in after my comment.

Sorry no I don’t believe the entire Country should be able to run for POTUS. Or under your philosophy I could conceivably receive a ballot that has hundreds of names running for one position which is goofy period.

The fact that there was 790 Locals that put in a choice on the last go around, no I don’t think raising the bar to 75 is unreasonable or should be unrealistic to obtain for any “qualified” candidates.

But if you’re that incensed by it then I need to comment that perhaps the IAM is not the Union for you and you should consider shifting your energy to seeking out a Union that fits you more comfortably? Or even perhaps settle in to the idea once and for all that there isn’t a Union that comes in your size.

BTW Tim today is Mike Klemm’s Birthday. Did you wish him a good one on his Facebook timeline?
