Al the Company can do whatever the Contract allows them to do. Thus the saying “They can do that”

We used to have “Station Protected” Members. There was this naive thought that the Company couldn’t close a Station until those Members left but eventually they did close ROC and SYR.

They replaced all the workers there with a subcontractor except the one guy in both locations who had that protection. The Company made them come in every day and they would sit and do nothing.

Eventually the subcontractors workers forced them to retire cause they were phucking with their cars over jealousy that these guys were coming in and getting paid way better than them to do nothing.

Al even after Taxes the Fleet buyout is 50k. You can buy a lot of USA Medical “insurance” if you feel you need it with that cash. Now also not everyone is sickly in their late 50’s early 60’s besides the fact I know a lot of people here in MIA that aren’t planning on retiring in this Country anyway.

Some guys will go on their wives insurance, some have VA Benefits and some won’t bother to be insured I suppose.
