Yes. Roach put out a letter saying that the IAM Pension benefits are guaranteed! In reality, it was true, but the guaranteed amount is only $33 a month, subject to funding by the PBGC. Obviously, with the multi employer PBGC monies being depleted in a couple years, the Trustees won't be able to ditch the pension to the PBGC unless Martinez is successful in getting Uncle Donnie to support the dirty deeds of the unions with new public funding.

I, personally, don't think Uncle Donnie is going to flip the bill for Martinez "WineFeast" and other dirty union deeds that have got their multi employer funds 10 feet under water. And with the Late Term Abortion fiasco's, Trump will be solidified in as Prez until January, 2025.

True. But I've learned not to listen to 700, or any IAM Pollyanna or IAM official. They don't follow their own advice. As far as the pension, I hope GVP/700/lavman is right and that the plan reverses its losses. Until they prove the experts wrong, I have to stick with the IAM's own report that it is in the critical crapper in 2 more years. I'm going to have to plan accordingly. At least my Grand Lodge Plan is in safe hands.

I have no idea what website they created. I created a constitution. I have given them guidance on how to organize. Over the next 30 days there could be a dozen groups, mostly IAM, that get card signups. All the cards are different as some are for non RLA elections. I drafted a petition as well since I think getting a petition signup would go quicker than a cards for NLRB elections.
When they asked me if they should stand on the curb like the IAM does, I said no. Basically, the IAM doesn't know how to organize. They organized 0 members from 2000-2009. Then I organized 42,000 for them. Then from 2013- they got 0 airline members. Geez, I wonder why??? And they keep blowing the same drives. JetBlue, Delta Ramp, Delta stews. I could have organized all 3 of those units in 18 months.

Had a meeting with Roach and Company Tom. Company Tom wanted me to do JetBlue and leave Delta alone. Roach seemed to want me involved with Delta so I agreed to go down to ATL for a week with 4 guys. We broke records and got so many cards signed that we had time to wind down at the bar at the end of the week.
Company Tom felt threatened because he finally got his gig in Florida instead of EWR. So he told Roach that he would get the ramp. He didn't know what he was doing. He lost the ramp, passenger service, everything. Yet, these morons continue to stand out there on the curb like it's the 1970s and think that somehow that is how you still organize. Dumb.

Samuelson has an election coming up. The problem is that the TWU elections are on the odd years of the IAM elections. The problem for the TWU is that their members want a contract NOW. They aren't at the point of rejecting their union yet but if Samuelson and Sito drag things out with no end then Lil Timmy is going to make some phone calls to set up a new union and kick these company bums out of representation. By then, the new "no frills" union ought to have several thousand members. I wouldn't be the least surprised if the thing snowballs and grabs 100,000 members in the next 24 months. There is little competition since unions don't raid anymore, so unions have gotten weak.
The new "no frills' union will immediately bring the offer out for a vote. Then if the members reject it, the parties can reassess the situation.
