This thread has pretty much turned into a vast wasteland

instead of talking about iam/lus history and hall of fame grand poopahs from legendary grand lodges, i'd rather talk about cc vs. lead language, wages and PT caps...system or station and what percentage?

a few tried talking about your insurance...either trade-off or compromise. i guess that stuff is not exciting.

when laa talks about it's history, al tells us that aa came up with the 'b' scale in 1983. ok...

Cream I’m an LUs cc and I can tell you I’d love something at least close to LAA cc language
Who came up with a b scale is irrelevant to me it’s a chitty thing

Well, I guess you didn’t know that they no longer have a jet. I guess you also didn’t know that the IAMNPF isn’t in Sito’s Control. Conflict of interest??? I think not. I wish We had someone on the AA Board, it could only be a benefit.

Racer you’re wasting your time on this one. On Forums because they can hide behind aliases you’ll find that you have those who are entirely agenda driven and intellectually dishonest and in this one case the individual you just engaged is agenda driven and intellectually incapable.

OF COURSE it would be better to have a seat on the BOD than to sit in the car in the parking lot with the engine running.

On that issue these people might not be smart enough to understand that?

yeah, i'd imagine you would. i work next to ua leads and they do more work in 1 day than i do in a month.

i'm thinking about taking the pin after a contract is done and i'd certainly want it to stay the same. as a fsc and shareholder, i can't believe the new aa management would agree to keep the laa c/c language.

you remember what happened to ua? they pooled their 401ks to get a seat on ua's board and in the blink of an eye, no seat and no more 401k.

dangerous stuff.

I’ve been told the company wants LUS language union wants LAA language and that it would likely wind up somewhere in between
Which of course would piss off the LAA cc and not do much to make me happy either,my expectations are pretty low on the issue though I remain hopeful

'b' scale was 83 and 'c' scale was 89, but yet, how much were bk laa fscs making per hour in 2012, while under bk and how much were lus agents making?

how about delta's ready reserve?

i've 'heard' and maybe some here have leaked it too...but this article is done and it looks like laa c/c will remain.

if i'm wrong, i hope someone corrects me.

If I recall correctly they had a little TOO much influence on that Board and were giving themselves too much in increases off the Company revenue to their Contracts?

I think a BOD should be well rounded to include all stakeholders. And that includes represented employees .

i don't argue any of that. in germany, many companies MUST have worker representation on their board of directors.

as far as ua, 9-11 killed them and everyone else, before it hit us.

I certainly hope you’re right, ever since this merger happened when changes come about they were explained away by the generic “this is how AA does it’s” ok I can adapt so when it comes to cc language it’s “this is how AA does it” for me

I’m against any b scale of any sort and I’m damn sure against ready reserve

i did my time, cltrat...waiting to top out and i only have so many years left to make this money. the new hires can do the same.

i have no problem with $15/hr starting-12 year progression to $36/hr. no one lifted a finger to speed up my top out rate when i got hired.

i believe ua's old top out was 5 years, but this was in the mid 80's. different times now.

we heard "this is how us air does it" ,when we were told that we were chocking planes incorrectly for the last 40 years.

Wait a minute here. The card tonight was supposed to be a Weez vs the Buck Battle for the Intercontinental belt? Didn’t expect Buck to tag out with Jimmy Snuka’s angry Samoan nephew Moe.

You’re lucky Ted DiBiasse ain’t around to straighten out you pencil neck geeks and put things back on course.

WWF is not a 3 ring Circus you know.
Who are you calling geeks?🙂
