we heard "this is how us air does it" ,when we were told that we were chocking planes incorrectly for the last 40 years.

On the LUs side I think b scale was something that people in stations that were not hubs or a certain size got.
I’ve always been in a hub but there are posters on here that lived it and can explain better than I
 
Racer you’re wasting your time on this one. On Forums because they can hide behind aliases you’ll find that you have those who are entirely agenda driven and intellectually dishonest and in this one case the individual you just engaged is agenda driven and intellectually incapable.

'b' scale was 83 and 'c' scale was 89, but yet, how much were bk laa fscs making per hour in 2012, while under bk and how much were lus agents making?

Effective 10/1, they’ll start at $14.56/hr., with any increases based on how many hours they work, not years of service. In theory, if someone worked the max every year (1400 hours), they would top out at $31.04 after 10.5 years
 
Well, I guess you didn’t know that they no longer have a jet. I guess you also didn’t know that the IAMNPF isn’t in Sito’s Control. Conflict of interest??? I think not. I wish We had someone on the AA Board, it could only be a benefit.

well, either they are padding the amount of supervisors/further insulation from job elimination or the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

OF COURSE it would be better to have a seat on the BOD than to sit in the car in the parking lot with the engine running.

On that issue these people might not be smart enough to understand that?
There have been plenty of union leaders on plenty of boards over the years cant hurt, but in our industry I haven't seen it do to much good either.The board seat usually came at the price of concessions alot of them
 
I certainly hope you’re right,ever since this merger happened when changes come about they were explained away by the generic “this is how AA does it’s” ok I can adapt so when it comes to cc language it’s “this is how AA does it” for me
Rat they are backing off that now some of AA work rules were stuck in the 60s.that is why even after bankruptcy they had so many more employees per aircraft than us

How does one get on the event planning committee for the IAMNPF? Seems based on the DOL complaint from a few years ago they planned some pretty clutch events at top tier venues.

If the IAM has all this money tied up in W3 with meeting space and accommodations why don’t they hold it there? Why go to BH and Martha’s Vineyard?

Cause the NY Plaza was booked solid and the wine list at W3 is lacking
 
Fine wine,private jets.junkets,unsuccessful recruitment .per diems,seperate retirement and medical this is a union?Tim help

So if the leadership leads by example why don’t they send the local Lodge and shop stewards to these resorts if W3 isn’t up to standard for the IAMNPF trustees?

It’s a ridiculous stance...I agree that we should be representing our members. That is for PROTECTING the HERE and NOW ...no argument. But..that’s not the only concern....we must PROTECT our FUTURE ALSO.

The reality is very simple. If the PAST had not protected the FUTURE, then none of us would be here today in the PRESENT.

So no absolutely the right thing to do is to protect the future entrusted to us.

Yea, I was in one of those stations. The hubs talked big and said "Unity and Save the Unborn". They swore up and down that they were union people who believed in "One for All and All for One". Well, a funny thing happened along the way. These so called union people from CLT, PHL, BOS, all knifed non hub stations in the back and then told us "we didn't want to but we all have families to feed.".

So, 3,000 of us got laid off, stations closed, and non hubs got pay cuts when hubs didn't. Of course, stations like CLT and PHL wanted to limit the seniority of many people from PIT who got whacked and had to come to CLT, etc. So CLT voted to approve the seniority cleansing. That stopped most of the later PIT folks from coming to CLT but there were still many affected like Pete Laville and others in CLT who got backstabbed by the stewards and chairpersons who pushed this anti union TA.

I can tell you 100% that if a JCBA came out and CLT Catering was included but not LAA deicing or lavs that your station wouldn't give a fart in the wind about LAAA. Same with LAA, it wouldn't give a fart in the wind about our LUS health care or even your catering. It's pretty much mob rule and the majority will decide. It always has.

Weez will say "United", "Solidarity for all". and other working class hero expressions but the reality is that he could care less about your catering as well. He won't be honest about it but that's the truth.

I don’t think Labor having a few seats on an Airline’s BOD is what caused any concessions? And again both the IAM and ALPA have seats on UAL’s BOD.
 
No your point is why we have the worst two unions known in the industry. When the unions go,s against wisheses of its members who are paying the dues . And only do what’s good for them. If the company scope was so bad why wouldn’t the union post the language . Let the people get riled up about it. But just because they have videos saying that dose not cut it for a lot of people. After all they posted in writing we will get a vote on the association.another lie . Sito himself screwed the Boeing people. The members and locals both rejected the Boeing contract to freeze the pension . The members voted it down. But sito was angry because future dues money so he revoted and of course it passed. With unions like that who lies and cheats there members like that who needs enemy’s . We’re paying them every payday. And why is sito negotiations the aa deal when he is on the board at United sounds like a conflict of interest to me. And I don’t by the bs about it’s being held up for scope and insurance. I believe it’s being held up for the iampf. Sito has so much financial game at stake for him to loose that money. So he can use it and by more expensive wine . And fuel is jet.
Sito had nothing to do with Boeing... do your homework!
