Aw c’mon Tim I miss my “funny” friend Al. I know this is you. You’re not funny at all. You’re totally boring man. Tim please give Al back his signin code and I promise we’ll let you at least look at the REAL TA when it comes out even if you can’t vote on it.
Please. I really want my good old funny friend Al back. Terrible, just terrible. Boring.

adjective

Weez... I think you finally get it!

Because I like what I do.I am also senior if I went into management I would start over. Why don't you get a job with the union kiss some ass that usually does it.What is it labor day plus 3 now waiting for some action

wait til we get a contract, then go. you'll keep your seniority and get a hefty raise...when all the dust settles, you'll be $90+k falling out of bed.

level 3 csm.

I’ve been told the company wants LUS language union wants LAA language and that it would likely wind up somewhere in between
Which of course would piss off the LAA cc and not do much to make me happy either,my expectations are pretty low on the issue though I remain hopeful

the angry ones are the ua leads...they are the ones who got f@cked with the co merger.

ua/iam has their lead seniority when they became a lead. co/a few decades of no union representation-late teamster representation, took a lead position with their hiring date.

akin to how the seniority will work out with laa-lus merger. hiring date vs. occupational and not company seniority/hiring date seniority.

ok...and if they hit the magical 1400 hour mark for the year, they also are entitled to insurance? or, regardless of hours worked, they get medical coverage?

Once they hit that mark, they are done for the year (the year runs Oct.-Oct., btw). No medical.

profit sharing is the same for them? for example: say all at dl will get 15% of their previous year's income. so, 15% of their smaller yearly delta income? ready reserve guy earned $20k at delta last year, so, he'll get a profit sharing check of $3,000?

We’re all on the same payout formula (a portion of eligible income), so they would get paid the same way, but obviously a considerably less amount.

Are you sure about that? I went to the IAMNPF site, and found that he is NOT listed as such. Is this some inside info?

http://mypension.iamnpf.org/about-us/trustees.aspx

If you pull up the Summary Plan Description on there, one shows Sito as one of the Union Trustees.

He was one of the Union trustees but is no longer listed.

Besides the fact that this IAMPF talk is nothing but a drag back through the weeds. There has been ZERO proof provided that the IAMPF talk here has any merit.

The fact is I also was informed by two TWU President’s that Brother Pantoja did say they were not tied to the IAMPF if a suitable financial replacement was offered (5% Contribution, 4% Match not being that)

This is nothing more than a pullback into the weeds topic meant for the “sick” pleasure of one poster on here who no longer has a vote in anything that the rest of us continue to enjoy.

(The daily stupidity here now should be along momentarily)

Seriously speaking here that would be a very smart move for Al to make. As a matter of fact he should become a Lead now and his bump up would be based on almost $75,000 when the dust settles. I think he might be able to draw another 12% from there that he could put into his retirement accounts.

It would also get him out of the Association, any dues associated with it and maybe even the IAMPF if that’s still a part of the picture then.

Of course there is no guarantees if he takes a position he would survive any further management purges or they would honor his Company time and give him great days off?

Years ago the old AMR used to honor that time, but times at AA have certainly changed.

You are correct Weez. The poster you referred to has been at this for a long... long... time...
My understanding is that he was engaged in this same activity even before the internet became commonplace. He started out with anti--IAM newsletters, that were thrown into the cargo bins for distribution system wide.

The premise that Sito currently sits on the board of trustees for the IAMNPF is FALSE!
The previous posted information was knowingly submitted with ambiguous, and antiquated revelations from previous years. Of course, there was no mention of this by the OP, it was presented as current and factual!

Gotta love the anti-union spin... it has no limits!

TBH I don’t have much confidence in either UAL or the IAMNPF to consistently disseminate accurate information to the shareholders/members and other interested parties. So who knows who is actually tasked with presiding over the retirement security of the LUS membership forced into the IAMNPF without a choice.

agreed. bump in pay taking lead, then another bump, on top of the lead bump in pay, if he applies and gets hired as a level 3 csm. easily, make $90+k a year.

yes, his seniority will stay the same. i know a c/c that did this 2 years ago. got a nice bump in pay and kept his seniority in management.

First, the SPD you refer to is from a previous time... AGAIN... Sito in NOT on the board of the IAMNPF. What part of this is not clear... the "NOT" or "ON the BOARD"?

Why would someone that is non-union from DL care anyway?

There are currently a minimum of 4 regular posters on this thread and on the AA boards that don’t even work for AA. All of them except one claim some strange connection or consider that we have connections when that’s absolutely not a fact.

I’ve always had this feeling with these people as if they are neighbors who continue to come and knock on my door to tell me how ugly they think my house and furnishings are.

The reality is they spread chit on my house because they aren’t very happy with their own.
