Honestly dude from my perspective our association is fightin to keep our scope for example. Ive talked to a fairly decent large number of both LAA and LUS folks. Dude our local is pretty dam good. U on the other hand attacked me right off the bat before getting out of the batters box when i n some others asked nicely for links to which none was given

yea, so what? My Local is fine as well..So did you get up off your arse and ask anyone or are you gonna keep being a D?

Dude. Seriously. U really have to keep calling people names n all? That alone does not accomplish a darn thing . Personally i like getting info from people in general. U hate the IAM. I see both right and wrong with the union but in this era I believe our association is fighting harder now than under the old canale era.

You wont even be aware that you will be paying for the $25,000 salary spikes and you will blame the company, mediator, or me, when you lose your lus health care because you simply arent capable of understanding that your union decided not to fight for you when it already gave the company a seamless merger with the cross utilization agreement that enabled the twu to get its dues increase.

Wrong again tim. I chose robbedagain back when i signed on. If u got issues w it i cant help u. U are probably the top anti union if not number 2 w a banker. 2nd i dont have reading issues u seem to think i have . Unlike u i look at the whole picture and unlike u i see where blame should be planted. Ur one of the most pro company anti union dudes out there

Im not the one raising your dues to pay for another $850,000 salary hike.

But whatever the case, stop your B about me and ask your local committee or local or agc. There is a reason why charlie brown and rez scattered like cockroaches and havent addressed this although i saw both of them on here reading in this topic.
And ill even go on record that it is fundamentally unfair to ask people making from $35,000-$65,000 to approve salaries that are 4x the work group FTE.
Its everything wrong with the iam and this country. iam = corporate= management.
 
Cautious Optimism Extends into 2019 - Airlines Heading for a Decade in the Black

Geneva - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) forecasts the global airline industry net profit to be $35.5 billion in 2019, slightly ahead of the $32.3 billion expected net profit in 2018 (revised down from $33.8 billion forecast in June). Highlights of expected 2019 performance include:
The return on invested capital is expected to be 8.6% (unchanged from 2018)
The margin on net post-tax profits is expected be 4.0% (basically unchanged from 3.9% in 2018)
Overall industry revenues are expected to reach $885 billion (+7.7% on $821 billion in 2018)
Passenger numbers are expected to reach 4.59 billion (up from 4.34 billion in 2018)
Cargo tonnes carried are expected to reach 65.9 million (up from 63.7 million in 2018)
Slower demand growth for both passenger traffic (+6.0% in 2019, +6.5% in 2018) and cargo (+3.7% in 2019, +4.1% in 2018)
Average net profit per departing passenger of $7.75 ($7.45 in 2018)


Lower oil prices and solid, albeit slower, economic growth (+3.1%) are extending the run of profits for the global airline industry, after profitability was squeezed by rising costs in 2018. It is expected that 2019 will be the tenth year of profit and the fifth consecutive year where airlines deliver a return on capital that exceeds the industry’s cost of capital, creating value for its investors.

“We had expected that rising costs would weaken profitability in 2019. But the sharp fall in oil prices and solid GDP growth projections have provided a buffer. So we are cautiously optimistic that the run of solid value creation for investors will continue for at least another year. But there are downside risks as the economic and political environments remain volatile,” said Alexandre de Juniac, IATA’s Director General and CEO.

Mr Basket just left DCA and couldn't leave soon enough. After lying all day yesterday and refusing to mention his salary boost, some DCA peeps on my Facebook page PM me asking me why he refused to talk about his salary boost. So after I opened up the can, they knew it smelled rotten and approached him today. They asked him to his face about the salary increase and he said that he had nothing to do with it but rather all of the United AGC's were the ones pushing it so the LUS AGC's didn't want to look bad so the recommendation was unanimous. SAY WHAT???

Where oh where is Charlie Brown when you need him? LMAO. I told all of you about this bad apple but you guys just don't listen. I hate being right, actually.

So, comparing all of our 7,500 fleet service, the FTE equivalence payscale is $36,000. I guess those numbers include the 35% part timers and also those on all levels of the pay scale. So anyways, Mr Baskett wants to make 4 x the FTE.....and pay no health care, get 2 union pensions, another $300 a month for spending, plus per diems (food, etc). The salary would go past $150,000 as soon as DL142 boost their pay in January.

You guys deserve this clown because most of you just don't listen. Enjoy paying more dues while you don't get a pay raise.
