American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

Other airlines are the basis for comparisons for the unions as well as the airlines, with one side wanting the positives while the other wants the negatives.

If we started negotiations knowing this, or at least acknowledging it, we'd have a better time trying to navigate the negatives.

As it stands, we usually go into the time wasting received tactic of blaming the Executives as the walls close in during the RLA process.

The offer may not seem fair to everyone (company proposal) like someone in catering, or someone like cltrat who has full family medical, or someone wanting to get to a new station like iah, but im single and already moved to where I plan to stay.
And after a jcba, none of you will have to read my rants cuz i happen to have a life. Until then, the association is stupid and tripling over its ego and I dont feel like tolerating the madness.
Thats why im hoping the judge takes care of business.

Your job was not meant to be what you guys have made it to be. It was a part time transitional job for college students or want a bee grease monkeys.

Bag smashers dont compete globally like mx, and we dont compete with technology like reservations px service. So those 2 crafts lost 70% of their group. Us bag smashers have expanded.
Time to let the mx sail off cuz your proposal isnt wow, and its limiting progress for fleet.
At least if you worked in a local auto shop, you wouldnt have to deal with pedro.

The Mechanics at LAA have an agenda as well, that being to have their own representative. It is the NMB that decides on craft and class if the AFL-CIO would fight that ( being recognized as the same as mechanics fight instead of trying to continue in from the origins of unionism in the United States, 1778 and in modern times of the mid-1920s.
