FORT WORTH, Texas, April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- To commemorate American's 84-year history in Chicago, American Airlines and American Eagle today introduced a year-long "Celebrate Chicago" initiative. The initiative includes a series of promotions beginning with a current AAdvantage® double-miles offer for travel on select routes and the new "More Great Cities" bonus offer, allowing customers to earn up to 100,000 AAdvantage bonus miles. These promotions, along with the introduction of new American Airlines and American Eagle flights, will be highlighted by other exciting programs that will be announced in coming months.

American Airlines and American Eagle are adding new flights to 16 destinations from Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Beginning April 6, and continuing through June 12, American and American Eagle will introduce these flights and offer passengers traveling to or from or connecting through Chicago even more choices.
