What's new

American Airlines T-Mobile Promo Code

Had At&T in NY it suxed I switched over to Verizon. That was about ten years ago. I have since moved to Fla.
Verizon service was great in NY and is great south of the Mason/Dixon. i was going to switch to Sprint but have no reason to.

Possibly sucked before the cingular buy out? I had cingular and now I have att. The phone works everywhere. Even on the north shore in places verizon doesn't. Big problem is that it has been getting steadily more expensive since att bought them.

I tried tmobile when I was in texas because I was thinking about switching. It worked nowhere. As another poster stated, it dropped calls ALL the time. That's why I got rid of Sprint in the first place.

T-Mobile offers a fairly new service where you can purchase one of their wifi phones and the t-mobile hot spot service. They give you a router for your house. When the phone detects a wifi signal/tmobile hot spot, your calls are free. Some FAs and pilots have been using them in Europe and making calls to the states for nothing. I was thinking about switching over but when you aren't in a hot spot the service is horrible.

A sprint and T-Mobile merger could be a very good thing. I have been seriously considering the new I-Phone when it launches though.

Quote from article:
Hybrid phones that can access both the GSM and CDMA networks would be one way to go, but in the end, with AT&T (NYSE: T) and Verizon (NYSE: VZ) both switching to GSM-based LTE in the coming years, CDMA seems to be a dead end
OK, but that reference is to LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology for high speed wireless broadband. This 4th generation technology is more than 10 times as fast as current 3G networks. LTE will make mobile phones capable of running both video and gaming applications and is destined to replace both CDMA and GSM.

What is LTE?

LTE is the next generation network technology for 3GPP (GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSxPA) and 3GPP2 (CDMA and EV-DO) Operators. LTE is comprised of two main elements; the EUTRAN (Evolved UMTS Radio Access Network) and the EPC (Evolved Packet Core).

LTE Standards are scheduled to be finalized by the end of 2007 for EUTRAN and early 2008 for EPC with the first commercial deployments expected to take place in late 2009 or early 2010.

Motorola's extensive expertise in mobile broadband innovation including OFDM technologies and collapsed IP architecture and our commitment to Seamless Mobility is illustrated through our status as the #1 contributor to the standards development for LTE for RAN 1 & 2.

With expected data rates in excess of 100Mbps and very low latency, LTE will provide significant improvements to the user experience. LTE's Evolved Packet Core is IP centric and technology agnostic, allowing Operators to provide common applications and services across other fixed and wireless access technologies.LTE, with its added capacity and simplified architecture will deliver cost effective voice and data services and will also benefit from high levels of spectrum flexibility, making it very well suited for deployments by Operators in both developed and emerging markets.

The # is 1-866-464-8662, only need the code.

Anybody here work for AA?

Not only is the phone number mentioned on the jetnet page.....finish the sentence that mentions the phone number ....the code is there.

Unless,of course, you are not an employee (very likely). If that is the case the code will be somewhat evasive.

Good luck!!!

Anybody got Verizon below the "Mason/Dixon",..............and if so, hows their performance ?

Google "informed" me that the 7 largest cell phone company's are...(by subscribers)...(in Millions)

1. Cingular..................50.0
2. Verizon...................44.0
3. Sprint.....................22.2
4. T-Mobile.................17.3
5. Nextel....................15.3
6. Alltel......................8.0
7. US Cellular..............4.8
Verizon is excellent here in southeast Texas. I had Sprint, but dumped them due to dropped calls and having to stand on objects while roaming the yard to get a signal. (I live in a rural area).
