American to add charter service from LA to Havana

American said Tuesday that the flights from Los Angeles International Airport will run on Saturdays starting Dec. 12.

Indeed, though I wonder why LAX? I get that it's a huge market, but still...

Remember, you'll still have to declare a reason for making the trip ("going to the beach," or "I want to see it before it gets over run" won't count), so...

just a matter of time before we hear how awful it will be bec its on AA       It cld be population combined with demand for cargo etc?
