American v. English language.

I know it's just semantics but I think our language is unique enough to warrant it's own name.  I have nothing against the English but we did fight a war to break away from them and I think our language is our own.  It's American.  We do not use a rubber to erase pencil marks, we do not put luggage in the boot of a car nor do we clean our windscreen.  We have sex with a rubber, put our foot in a boot (or put it up someone's a$$) and I have no idea about the windscreen.
