In support of the AMFA Organizing Campaign at AA, I have launched http://www.amfa-aa.com, for those that were requesting the ability to contribute, there is a link for that.

Although the website is still under construction, it is ready for release.

If you find broken links or other errors, please use the contact page to notify me.

Thanks for your support.

I appreciate the kind words. First we must make the change happen, then the membership will decide our leaders.
Thanks again.

So, does that mean AMP is no more? The TWU didn't even have to lift a finger to prevent that one.

I hope you guy's have better luck with this one.

Lord knows with the way the vote turned out, hell would freeze over before Fleet fought for change.

The AMP organizers have suspended that drive and joined the AMFA drive.

Thanks for the website. I`m passing along the info via email and facebook. Signed and mailed in my card last week. Hopefully we can get it done this time.

You Make the Choice:

From the beginning of the AMP Card drive to remove the TWU from ruining our craft & profession, the message that the membership is tired of the TWU’s undemocratic structure and unaccountable appointed international officers must come to an end has never changed. AMP was created to give back control of the union to the dues paying members. AMP was created out of a necessity for true democratic rule, so people who want to “fight like hell” for you do so because they know that they work for the membership and not the other way around.

By the number of signed AMP Authorization cards that have been received, the membership has spoken clearly of the need for change yet, the TWU continues to bring back concessionary contracts and company proposals that further harm our proud craft & profession. AMP has always been about change for the better.

There is now currently an AMFA Card Drive at AA and the AMP Organizing Committee supports this card drive. The AMP Organizing Committee believes in a craft, democratic union for the skilled men and women at AA that maintain our aircraft. The AMP Organizing Committee wishes to take this opportunity to continue support for a drive for democracy and accountability for the people who wish to lead our craft & profession to the top NOT the bottom of the industry.

An AMFA Card Drive gives people another option to take back control of our union. The TWU has shown repeatedly that they care nothing about the membership other than their dues. Has the TWU changed in any way that better enhances the membership? Ask yourself what has the TWU done for you? The TWU continues to mislead and distort the facts. TWU says they will not tell the membership to vote yes for more concessions yet, they will have John Hewitt and Rick Mullins make a video that lists reasons why you should vote yes but, not give you facts why you should vote no.

At this time the AMP Organizing Committee has decided to suspend the AMP card drive at AA and support the AMFA Card Drive any way we can. We would like to thank all of the AMP supporters. If you wish to sign an AMP Authorization Card you can still do so but, if you wish for another option we support your right to sign an AMFA Authorization Card. Democracy and accountability are two things that a craft union should be founded on. The TWU does not have this foundation.

The AMP Steering Committee wishes to thank all of the Organizers for all of their hard work and support.

AMP decided to suspend our drive at this time because we cannot afford to split the group that seeks change, the removal of the twu is a goal we should all share and we have had 22 months to reach the required number of cards, coming up 800 cards short. We seek to insure this does not happen to AMFA. If you supported AMP we ask you do the same for AMFA our future depends on it.

Thanks Pitbull

Great to see you guys come together to become one. I too thought if both AMP and AMFA was to run at the same time that it would interfer with the proccess. I think now that AMFA will come away the winner with the AMP committee endorsing an AMFA drive. I hope you guys get this done this time. And I will be sending in some funds for the effort. Good luck to all. And stay strong. Make it happend guys, you can do it...
