AMFA FILES ON AIR CANADA

Great! When they are successful this with be the 11th airline to bring AMFA in to represent the Mechanics & AME's.
On a side note; if the Spirit/Frontier merger goes thru Frontier will become the 12th airline. Still in hopes AA and JB bring AMFA in and even wanting to see you guys at United bring them back in now that the United Mechanics now realize that they should have stayed with them. Like the Cinderella song goes; "Don't know what you got, till it's gone!" AMFA now at so many different airlines just speaks volumes on how much better it is to represent the Mechanics work groups with a Class and Craft style union, instead of representing up to 12 different groups with the industrial style of representation where the Mechanics group is a very small number and % of the represented groups.

Just took a look at AMFA 2024 LM2’s.

AMFA Membership now at 4470
AMFA grew their cash by $500,000 in one year to around $3 Million held.
AMFA paid much less to Seeham than in the past at $375,000

Being fair to the story unlike 👎 SWAMECH that’s a 👏 improvement over prior years.

Hopefully 🤞 AMFA has learned to stay in the lane they find themselves on now. Picking up the low hanging fruit. 🍎

Remind me again, just how many aircraft mechanic groups the TWU has organized recently?
That would be none. "0". Notta, Ziltch... Matter fact the twu has lost 2-3 groups in the airline business, but none have gained in the mechanic and related.

AMFA is doing a good job picking up all the low hanging AMT fruit. Congratulations to them.

As I alluded to in the adjacent thread, if it weren't for you hundreds to thousands of post deriding AMFA, your stated sincerity may not have been questioned. Alas, it is.
