Was it not you that said of communism To me communism/capitalism are two sides of the same coin, both controlled by banking and ruling elites. Communism was allowed to die because it served its purpose; which was to build a huge military industrial complex in the U.S.,and have a captive population in Russia; . Since Che Guvera was a follower of communism I guess that means he was either an unwitting dupe or a card carrying member of a vast conspiracy.

You are correct about what I said and I stand by it. At the time there wasn't much choice. Capitalism and communism were the only game in town. So if you didn't want the capitalists exploiting your country, you asked the commies for help.
Ho Chi Minh tried reaching out first to Truman. Since Truman was determined to let the French keep their old colonial empire in Indo-China, Uncle Ho went to Peking and Moscow.
At the end of his life Che was beggining to realize that the eastern Bloc commies were just another bunch of power hungry thugs not much diferent than the capitalists. Thats why the Russians looked the other way and the Bolivian communists party(who had ties to Moscow) refused to help Che in a Bolivian uprising. Of course Castro hung him out to dry also, he didn't need him any more and Che was becomming more popular than Castro. Why do you think the U.S. has allowed Castro to stick around for so long?
