I reject the premise entirely.

Only a delusional liberal would come up with something that stupid.

Really?  Define Tyranny.  Webster's defines it as this:

arbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power; despotic abuse of authority.

Which better fits that definition - yanking someone out of a car for smoking a cigarette, or requiring a background check of the mental health of a person wishing to purchase a firearm.

Really? A muslim in front of a recruiting station fires off a round and no one says anything? ~sigh~
Really. Have you seen a muslim guard anything? Maybe a Mercedes-Benz dealer or kabob buffet. Obammy can't even utter the words "islamic terrorist" <sigh>

Delusional Disorder (that would be you)

Delusional disorder, previously called paranoid disorder, is a type of serious mental illness called a "psychosis" in which a person cannot tell what is real from what is imagined. The main feature of this disorder is the presence of delusions, which are unshakable beliefs in something untrue. People with delusional disorder experience non-bizarre delusions, which involve situations that could occur in real life, such as being followed, poisoned, deceived, conspired against, or loved from a distance. These delusions usually involve the misinterpretation of perceptions or experiences. In reality, however, the situations are either not true at all or highly exaggerated.

"Mass shootings stopped. “In the 18 years up to and including 1996, the year of the massacre at Port Arthur, Australia experienced 13 mass shootings. In these events alone, 112 people were shot dead and at least another 52 wounded (table 1). In the 10.5 years since Port Arthur and the revised gun laws, no mass shootings have occurred in Australia.” [Mass shooting defined as five or more dead. None have occurred since the publication of the paper in 2006, either. -eds.]"

Reagan, the NRA, and Most recently Jeb Bush have called for and supported reasonable regulations and controls on gun ownership, those dirty weak-minded liberal babies.

Jeb's suggestion, carried to its only logical practical solution, would require not only background checks but psychological evaluations for gun ownership, as well as very tight registration and tracking. He didn't say that, but it is the only way to even pretend to accomplish what he did say.

Stinkin' freedom robbing republican

Hackman...please visit the Sandra Bland thread.  There we see a cop assaulting a woman who has done nothing but exercise her right to smoke a cigarette in her car.  I'd love to hear your thoughts on that issue.  All this liberal wacko has is a videocamera.  The cop had a taser and a gun.
