Anybody Heard About This?

" heard a rumor that NWA Management has recruited pilot trainees in mexico who are being trained in the event there unfavorable negotiations in the future with NWA pilots.......

These future pilots have agreed to work for 25% of the current pilot force wages and have a 15 year training contract..."

Any substance to this? God help everyone if it is...

Not even a credible lie, if you're going to make something up , use a little imagination. (The cuts the company wants go a lot deeper than 25% for starters)

So to answer your question....no...there is not substance to this. end of story.

It's NO secreat that I'm NOT a pilot, but to tell ya' the truth, until 12:01 saturday am, I would have thought this "story" preposterous !!!

Since 12:01 saturday am, (I"VE GOT NEWS FOR ALL OF YOU) "ANYTHING GOES" !!!

Because EVERY airline union member, has taken a "stroll" down that famous street called "ONE WAY STREET"............"MINUS AVENUE".........."POINT OF NO RETURN LANE", with NO friggin' end in site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


One last "INSIGNIFICANT THING" if I may, AIN'T NO other unions on the respective property's "WATCHING EACH OTHERS BACK" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I don't care If each union DETEST'S each other, you NEVER make a SEPERATE deal, with the DEVIL(aka... THE COMPANY) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vanish, I think you read it wrong. EITS didnt say 25% less , he/she said 25% of . In other words 75% less.

How does a top paid commuter pilots pay compare to a top paid NWA pilots pay?

How many unemployed pilots out there today just durling to get a ride in a 757, 747, etc.? Don't think for a minute NW's management won't try the same on you!!!!Have a good day! Oh! Back on topic: the NWA pilots are not going to be replaced by Mexican pilots. Just wrong on so many levels.

NWA management is playing this one "beatifully". First, sign a deal with the group that has the most to lose and is the hardest to replace. Then take on the smallest union, who has little support from the rest and no support from the IAM due to politics . To further show resolve, start showing the F/A's, that replacement workers are being trained. It is quite the plan indeed, apparently being condoned by the White House, since NWA asked that a PEB should not be invoked.

The biggest loser here, besides the AMFA members, will be the F/A's, because NWA will soon make some serious demands on them. It is therefore very sad, that the F/A's has chosen not to support AMFA!

This is hilarious.

Most of the ones even moderately successful as contractors couldn't afford the payments on their F250 trucks if there income dropped to the level alleged in this fairy tale.

Now back to my chemtrail flightplanning 😀
