I think it does beg the question of whether members of fundamental religions (jews, christians, muslims or what ever) that tend to me more sexually repressive are more inclined to molest children. Celibate priests seem to have a difficult time keeping their hands of young children.

I agree 'Tree, yet we Don't see this problem in say Holland / Denmark / Sweden / Norway or Finland,..........and unlike Denmark (copenhagen) and Holland (Amsterdam), Norway / Finland and Sweden do Not have famous 'red light' districts like Denmark and The Netherlands do.

Perhaps the reason you don't see molestation charges in many countries is because their ages of consent are considerably lower than in the US...

The attempt by the two of you to point at religion is entirely predictable, yet in Godless China, both molestation and sex abuse run rampant. It doesn't get any attention thanks to the lack of a free press. Same thing in Africa and the Middle East. And then there's Thailand. Clearly not a fundamentalist hotbed.

Eric, for Christ's sake,....I'm NOT talking about '9th world countries here', and  Y O U.....KNOW it.  !

As for the scandinavian countries I've listed, I believe Denmark is the one last country that A-O-C  is 15, as opposed to 16 as it is in Norway etc.

Look it up, I might be wrong, but I know you'll let me know.
(chuckle) With a name like olesen, I'd have bet the ranch that you knew EVERYTHING about the Scandi's.

Did you EVER think, just for a moment, that those BEAUTIFUL clean healthy squared-away countries aren't WOUND UP TIGHT about sex like this F'd - up Puritanical country is.
Maybe because there is a minute Baptist presence there has something to do with it.
Maybe the Scandi's  R E A L L Y  paid attention in thier world history classes when they were studying Thomas Jefferson.

Did you EVER consider THAT...' E '  ol' boy ?

USA FAMILY VALUES,.........what a F'n joke / scam..that is !
(Phoney hypocritical bas-tards)  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because there is no official recognition of religion in a country such as China does not mean people are not religious.

The middle east is is very religious and they are incredible sexual repressed. Look at the way they make women dress because men are unable to control their desires if a woman exposes so much as an ankle. As for Africa, look at places like Nigeria where the US evangelical Christians are behind the anti gay laws that they could not get passed here in the US.

I am not say that religion is the sole cause but sexual repression is a contributing factor.

Look at the way this country reacted when when that woman's boobs oped out at the foot ball game. You would have thought a child got sliced in half in central square. Yet hardly a peep is made about all the violent games children play on line.

China is clearly the most atheist country in history, and it's probably one of the most repressed in terms of sexuality as well.

Hell, even Cosmo was banned there.

Believe what you want, guys.

If the media were going after Muslims, Jews, or atheists the way they do evangelical Christians, you'd see outrage and hashtag diplomacy all over the place.

But, Christians? They're clearly fair game.

Nationally yes. Given the oppression of the state it is hard to determine the actual level of religiousness. Look what happened in Russia. The Orthodox churches have become quite popular. Not like that happens overnight.

I think it has more to do with the whole family values BS. If you put yourself out there as some religious symbol of virtue while you are banging a mistress of having kids out of wedlock or being gay (while bashing gays) then people are going to go after you. Gary Hart dared the media to find dirt on him. Guess what, they did. The moral of the story is if you have dirty laundry, STFU or people are going to find out. This country loves to watch the mighty fall.

Christians put themselves on a moral pulpit so yes, knocking them off is definitely fair game. The old saying about the heat and the kitchen comes to mind.

To a large extent Eric, they bring it on themselves.

I noticed you avoided my opinions on the scandinavian contries.  Your silence is DEAFENING !

It's OK if a libtard does it. If anyone else does it they call it HATE SPEECH.

The Libtards hate for Christians is ever present, on these boards ! When was the last time you've heard them rail against other religions or "GOD" forbid, Atheist or maybe it's that Atheist's and other religions are perfect in every way and can do no wrong. Whens the last time a libtard started a topic concerning Islam, and their treatment of women and gays! When have you seen them start a topic about Isis throwing gays off 100 ft. rooftops ?
If you notice Libtards talk about being all-encompassing, yet seem to take a very narrow view, when it comes to different religions!
