it's just a doctored photo someone made for fun. It's been bantered about on airliners.net for awhile now.

Don't quote me on this, but it looks kinda like an Engine Fire... 😛
Looks fake to me, foward flames at take off thrust settings, na.............

Looks like flaps are at takeoff setting, not landing. A compressor stall can produce a long tongue of flame out the back (especially dramatic at night) but I'm with those calling this a fake.

I concur on this, also the wingtip deflection is approporiate for take off due to lift.

I guess it could happen. Some of the real life fire pics look just as ugly.
If this kind of stuff happened on a regular basis, I'd go for a vending concession in bag claim selling adult diapers at $10 apiece. 😀
