Are there Fam flights?

Hi,

I am in the Toronto area, have my PPL, just wondering if any of the schools do Fam flights, like in fixed wing. At this point, not really serious about getting my license (its alot of money), but would still like to see what its like to fly a whirly bird. 🙂

Yes there are fam flights. It''ll cost you the standard $400/hr minimum. Usually you would go for a half an hour so about $200 and GST.
Have you called a flight school?

National Helicopters has an Inro Flight, I think it is around 120 to 150 dollars for an hour in an R22. It''s advertised on there website, sound''s like a great deal.

Haven''t called one yet, was thinking of doing it when the weather gets a bit warmer, and the sky is clear.

There is a base in London and one in the Caledon area somewhere, they have a link off of this website.

Candian''s school at Buttonville does them, as I''m also sure that Silverline will offer fam flights.
